At Hobby Airport, Digi-Boos's bright orange kiosks are near near the locations within the airport: Public pre-security areas near Gates #29, #44, #46. Using a free app available on the Web, users of most Apple, Android, and Windows electronic devices can use a credit card to rent and download movies or TV shows at the kiosks. Since the files are resident on the phone, tablet, or other device, users can watch the videos on the airplane (or anywhere else!) within 30 days. Once the rented movie has started playing, users have 48 hours to complete watching the movie. A key point in favor of this service is that unlike streaming video, these movies and TV episodes can be watched on devices even when no Internet connection is available.. such as on an airplane. Downloads at the automated Digiboo booths can even be made directly onto USB memory sticks, which would be plugged into the desired viewing device later.
